		<description>We own &amp; operate a small company making and selling products worldwide.  We recently took several orders from customers in another country (not unusual for us) and each credit card was approved with the numbers, expiration dates, card holders names and billing addresses as provided to us online &amp; submitted as required by First Data on line processing service.  Next thing we have are a series of chargeback notices (our first after 10 years of good business) saying these card numbers were stolen and zoom the funds are removed from our account via an ACH withdrawal.  Our calls to all involved resulted in the same comments - the merchant is responsible and will suffer the loss.  We pay these card processing centers a fee &amp; provide them with all their required information &amp; they don&#039;t even attempt to match up the numbers with the names and billing address.  In our case, the real card owners where from the US, Canada and Singapor (sp) and the theives were from Sochi City, Russia and the names and billing address certainly did not match the real owners information yet they were approved by our processor the respective issuing banks..  How can this be?  Anyone with information or a &quot;magic tonic&quot;  to help me convince my card processors &amp; banks, who claim of offer such great security, to put our money back, please advise.
We are the ultimate victums - we have lost product and money while everyone else, including the processing service &amp; banks who got their fees, while not doing their jobs, and the thieves have won.</description>

I would like to suggest that, when possible, merchants should only call the bank verified telephone number when calling the &quot;customer.&quot;   A few of our 3600 members have reported that fraudsters have used their cell phones (probably disposable)  as contact numbers and have all the right answers ready when the merchant calls.  These guys are getting very sophisticated!
